There were 17 Oktoberfest in New Jersey celebrations in 2014. We are updating the list for 2015 now. The one million NJ residents with German heritage, and all those who want to pretend that they are German for a weekend and indulge in food and beverage, should have no trouble finding a nearby New Jersey Oktoberfest to attend.

Duck Pond Oktoberfest – Demarest, NJ – October 10, 2015
34th annual craft show and Oktoberfest with German music, German food, inflatable games and canoe rides. Event is hosted by the Demarest Nature Center.

Smithville Oktoberfest – Smithville, NJ – October 3-4, 2015
Music, kids activities, international food court and over 100 Juried Crafters in addition to the year round Village activities.

Our Lady of the Lake Oktoberfest – Verona, NJ – October 3, 2015
Sixth annual Oktoberfest under the grand tent in the OLL parking lot. Authentic German food, beer, wine, and live music. Festivities begin with ceremonial beer keg tapping. Advance tickets are $65 per person. Fourth annual Kinderfest under the tents in the Montrose Avenue parking lot is free but tickets are required for certain rides, games and crafts.

Forest Lodge Oktoberfest - Warren, NJ – October 19, 2014
Lots of family fun under their covered pavilions. Enjoy good foods and cold German beers. Kids fun includes face painting, rides, inflatables, and more. Music is by Bernie’s Orchestra. Tickets are $10 with children under 10 free.

Chester Lions Club Oktoberfest – Chester, NJ – September 27-28, 2014
The Chester Lions Club will host its 16th annual Oktoberfest charity fundraiser on Saturday, September 27th and Sunday, September 28, 2014 from noon to 8 PM. Enjoy authentic German food, beer, dancing, live entertainment and a 50/50 raffle at Chubb Park on Route 24 in Chester, NJ. The Oktoberfest is a family friendly event with entertainment, pony rides, games and live music for kids. Children under 12 are free. Admission is $6 for adults. Hoboken Family Oktoberfest – Hoboken, NJ – September 26-27, 2014
Plan on celebrating with family and friends as Ss Peter and Paul teams up with Hoboken Catholic Academy for Hoboken Family Oktoberfest on September 26 and 27. Enjoy traditional Oktoberfest fare from bratwurst to strudel, along with some other great festival favorites. It wouldn’t be Oktoberfest without some seasonal ice-cold brews, so raise a glass in toasting some delicious Oktoberfest drafts in our Biergarten located inside the Ss Peter and Paul parking lot. The fun does not stop there! Enjoy live music performed by “Nobody’s Sheriff” and take the gang on a trip through our kid’s village across the street at Stevens Park. Oktoberfest at Forest Lodge – Warren, NJ – October 11, 2014
Hang on to your Lederhosen, it’s time for Oktoberfest! Yodel on over to FOREST LODGE, 11 Reinman Road in Warren, NJ and help ‘Roll out the Barrel’ at OKTOBERFEST 2014. The celebration begins on Saturday, October 11 (rain date; Sunday, October 19), from 11am to 5pm. The Food & Beverage Pavilion opens at 12noon. Open to the public. Gates Open at 11 AM. Bring your appetite! The menu is full with authentic German-American foods all available for purchase.

Back by popular demand…it’s the Saengerchor of Clark, NJ! The Saengerchor, an all male German chorus, celebrates their 89th Anniversary this year. The choir, a non-profit organization achieved acclaim and wide recognition both in concert performances and prize singing during their last 88 years of performing. All Oktoberfest attendees will be treated to a variety of German-American songs from the chorus’ repertoire. The chorus is simply … one of New Jersey’s finest. VENDOR FAIR in the PARK! Get ready to shop, shop, shop! Come stroll through the grass fields and start your holiday shopping early. Over 45 quality vendors selling a wide range of products at the Vendor Fair at Oktoberfest! Vendors will be selling candles, home-made crafts, jewelry, baskets, pottery, seasonal items, far too many items to list them all. Come to the Vendor Fair, and start shopping!
Oktoberfest has something for everyone. Bring your friends and family and don’t forget the kids!
